life in the basement has come and gone. we loved living underground, but are excited to practice maintaining a home. join me as i journal chapter two of our life, as we save up, look forward, and plan for a home in the city. as we seek after our great God to glorify Him daily, join in as we figure out what it means to radically pursue Him in "everyday life"

a new feature!

so i mentioned it last week- and now its here! a new feature to my little blog. i'm pretty excited ab out it too!
starting TODAY, there will be a new page to click on and something new for you to follow. in addition to my almost daily posts on here (and sometimes multiple daily posts!), i am adding a gratitude blog that will always be updated daily. check it out now and stay tuned!

if you're looking for how to get there on a regular basis, add http://weliveinabasement365.blogspot.com/ to your favorites/bookmarks/etc, or you click on the tab that says it across the top, or find the link in the left bar of this blog. i won't be regularly reposting to facebook or anything, although sometimes i might mention to it here, so it'll be up to you to follow. enjoy!

    Hey Whitni,
    Great looking blog! I'm looking forward to reading it and thanks for sharing. We definitely all need more gratitude in our lives. I forget to count my blessings but when I do I usually get my mind off of the stressful "junk" that I tend to let bog me down. I'll be reading since I'm adding it to my Google Reader. Keep up the good work and I'm hoping to see your posts on Google +!!
