Description

life in the basement has come and gone. we loved living underground, but are excited to practice maintaining a home. join me as i journal chapter two of our life, as we save up, look forward, and plan for a home in the city. as we seek after our great God to glorify Him daily, join in as we figure out what it means to radically pursue Him in "everyday life"

our humble abode

here's some pictures to introduce you to our place. you'll see some changes over the next bit as we seek to make it more homey. we've done a lot- and our proud of it! we enjoy it though. any tips? feel free to send them my way. btw, we can't paint. and i have a stack of things i want hung. more pics to come once that is done!

living room tv corner, lovingly named the "cozy corner" by nathan

chair in the cozy corner

front door & table, which are located behind the cozy corner (the couch you can see, and the tv is in front of that)

might be one of my proudest decorating moments in the house, this awesome find has a home in the corner of our bedroom. i found this little shelf at an antique store. the box on the bottom shelf was given to me by nathan one year and contains all the letters he wrote me before we were married.

my first anniversary present to nathan, soon to hang on our wall.

and the photo college to go on the wall soon... i need to replace some pictures, but this is what i'm thinking. (also, you can see our quilt underneath. from pottery barn, i love it!)
so it's just a peek, but there's more to come! i love having a home with my husband, even if it is just a basement with two rooms. i'll take more pics of the bathroom and office closet and post soon.
