chattanooga visit with friends!

this weekend, we headed up to chattanooga for a good old fashioned kiddie-style picnic and trip to the chattanooga aquarium. we joined a group of college friends and had a blast! we each brought something that we loved from our childhood, and enjoyed laughing in the sun, a long walk, an exploration of an awesome aquarium, and a lovely time together.

the spread, including an assortment of peanut butters & jellies, cheetos, strawberries, peaches, cheezits, capri suns, fruit roll ups, coke zeros, grapes, yogurt, animal crackers, starbursts, cheese & crackers, and waters.

those were definitely the hit of the party

in the butterfly garden at the aquarium, graham allowed a pretty little butterfly to rest on his finger!

we knew we had gotten old when we were so tired we stopped for a rocking break midway thru the aquarium. that, or maybe these awesome rocking chairs in the air conditioning were just begging for us to sit. either way, i'm grateful for this bevy of beauties.

the whole crew! (well, minus caroline's husband) we had a blast, and i think that it is pretty cool that we still keep up this far out. can you believe that most of us met 7 years ago this month? crazy!

it was a great trip and a great time with friends!
